Assistant/Associate Producer

Duties

• Contributes to the editorial process and helps write, edit and stack content within the newscast.
• Helps with on-air graphics and inserting other video components.
• Pitches story ideas and can step in as show producer in the event of staffing issues.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong writing skills and a good researcher.

Experience Level

• A bachelor's degree in broadcast media, journalism or a related field.
• Knowledgeable about the news production process.
